Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Telecom Engineer in Canada to design and deliver mission-critical telecommunications systems for critical infrastructure projects. Hybrid work arrangement available across Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary or Edmonton.

You’ll contribute to system architecture, design, and implementation, coordinating with other disciplines and clients to deliver reliable telecom solutions. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and P.Eng. eligibility, with 4+ years in wired/wireless telecom.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/telecommunications engineering.
• Registered or eligible for P.Eng. with provincial regulator.

Responsibilities

• Develop telecommunications system designs and engineering deliverables under senior staff guidance.
• Prepare network architectures, schematics, and design drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, calculations, BOMs, test procedures, and procurement docs.
• Support project scopes, estimates, schedules and budgets.
