Red Hat is seeking a Project Manager in Canada to guide the adoption of Red Hat solutions within telco accounts and partner networks. You will lead complex projects end-to-end from initiation to closure, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver on time, budget, and scope targets.

You will manage project plans, risks, and stakeholder expectations, with a focus on ROI and governance. A PMP certification, strong communication, and deep telco experience are essential; remote-friendly

• PMP Certification required.
• Agile methodologies are a plus (e.g., SAFe).
• Telco or Service Provider background preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with stakeholder management and building relationships.
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions.
• Awareness of organizational change management practices.
• Focused, versatile team player under pressure/ambiguity.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and project management concepts.
• Coordinate with geographically distributed teams and coach/train to achieve goals.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse, global cross-functional team.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• More than four years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, management or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct complex Telco projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management.
• Create and execute plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization.
• Evaluate trade-offs among size, cost, urgency, risk, and value.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope.
• Define success metrics with sponsors and other impacted groups.
• Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams through lifecycle.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and vendor accountability on-site.
• Facilitate operational checkpoints throughout the lifecycle.
• Create risk mitigation strategies and resolve risks.
• Prepare status reports and present updates to stakeholders.
• Define and track milestones within an integrated delivery plan.
• Ensure ROI targets in original proposal are met.
