Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC, is seeking an Engineering Technologist- Electrical Systems, Technical Support to provide technical support for Challenger aircraft electrical systems and to address in-service issues.

You will coordinate inquiries, monitor fleet reliability, and prepare technical communications while collaborating with Engineering and Program Management. Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English and French are required; occasional travel and on-call duties apply.

What are your contributions to the team?

Providing technical support for Challenger 3XX and 6XX aircraft to both external and internal customers regarding electrical system issues.

Supporting change requests related to in-service issues and working with Engineering and Program Management throughout the change implementation process.

Monitoring fleet reliability, identifying technical issues, and implementing corrective actions.

Coordinating technical inquiries and support requests for fleet operators within the group.

Preparing technical presentations and communications on topics related to your area of responsibility.

How to thrive in this role?

Good knowledge of aircraft electrical systems.

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant aviation experience.

Experience with Challenger aircraft platforms is considered an asset.

Strong communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to write technical articles and technical reports/notes in English.

Must be willing to carry a company cellphone/on-call phone and be available to travel occasionally on short notice.

Must be a team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers, maintain a positive attitude, and be results-oriented.

Ability to work under pressure in Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support situations.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
