Job summary

Simons in Quebec City seeks an experienced IT QA Tester to validate and enhance our digital platforms. You will define test plans, identify defects, and ensure seamless customer experiences across our transactional web ecosystem.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic retail technology environment.

Qualifications

Reporting to the Manager, IT Transformation, you will play a key role in validating and enhancing our digital platforms. You will develop an in-depth understanding of our transactional web ecosystem to ensure the quality of delivered solutions through structured, rigorous, and methodical testing. You will be responsible for identifying defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking issue resolution, and validating implemented solutions—all with the goal of delivering a seamless and reliable customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute functional, user experience (UX), and regression test plans for our web platforms and internal tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Validate new features and clearly document observed changes.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of our systems and provide support to cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, testing tools, and work methods to optimize testing efficiency and quality.
• Work closely with developers, graphic designers, and cross-functional teams.
