Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment. The fleet includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil & gas equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment.
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
• Work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment to avoid downtime.
• Maintain a fleet of aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines such as generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• May need to provide own tools of the trade.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
• Fluency in both English and French.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 lbs or more, and working indoors or outdoors as needed.

Base pay range: $25.69 – $35.33 per hour. The starting rate of pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
