Job Description Summary

Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on equipment to avoid downtime.
• Maintain a variety of equipment including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil & gas related equipment depending on the site.
• Use hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting fundamentals to diagnose and remedy issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a technician on diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment such as large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and fundamental troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and fundamental troubleshooting.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• May need to provide own tools of trade.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another language may be required based on location needs.
• Fluency in both English and French is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues across North America.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors depending on job requirements.

Base Pay Range

$25.69 – $35.33 per hour, varying based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
