Your Future Role

We are seeking a full-time Billing Technician to join our Accounting Group in Montreal. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Excel and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Manage monthly invoicing of ongoing work;
• Prepare customer invoices ensuring compliance with contract terms; meet billing deadlines;
• Correct errors in time entries (transfers, date changes, time divisions, project groupings, etc.);
• Track draft accounts for invoicing and submit electronically;
• Ensure collection of all payments;
• Resolve billing issues (time transfers, disbursements, rate errors, etc.);
• Prepare monthly monitoring reports;
• Handle customer requests related to accounts receivable;
• Adjust project transactions as needed;
• Perform other related duties.

Who Are We Looking For?

• At least 2 years of experience in billing or administrative roles within a professional services firm or business environment;
• Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Accounting or related field;
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel);
• Knowledge of QuickBooks/Clio is an asset;
• Excellent bilingual communication skills (French and English);
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members;
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively;
• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
