About the role

• Prepare 3D structural models and 2D structural drawings (steel and concrete) for industrial and institutional projects.
• Interface with other disciplines (civil/earthwork, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure structural drawings incorporate other discipline requirements.
• Perform site visits, inspect existing structures, and prepare drawings and sketches of existing structures.
• Liaise with designers, engineers, and project managers for direction, coordination, and feedback.
• Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.

About you:

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (structural or architectural) from a recognized college.
• 10 to 15 years of consulting experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design, and drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting is essential.
• Site experience and shop detailing are considered assets.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary project teams is essential.
• Architectural design experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
