Job summary

Altasciences Laval seeks a Technician, Reference Standard to manage the reception, storage, inventory, dispensing and tracking of reference standards (RFS). You will ensure MSDS and CoA handling and maintain logs.

A health sciences degree and strong attention to detail are required; pertinent experience may be considered in lieu. The role emphasizes strict safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the request and dispensing of reference standards (RFS).
• Manage the inventory of the RFS.
• Handle receipt, shipping, storage, and tracking of RFS.
• Manage the RFS MSDS.
• Manage the RFS Certificate of analysis (CoA).
• Respect Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures.
• Maintain all RFS logs.
• Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
• Perform any other duties as required.

About The Role

The Technician, Reference Standard is responsible for reference standards activities including the reception, storage, inventory, request/dispensing, shipping and tracking of reference standards (RFS).

What You'll Do Here

• Manage the request and dispensing of reference standards (RFS).
• Manage the inventory of the RFS.
• Handle the receipt, shipping, storage, and tracking of RFS.
• Manage the RFS Material safety data sheet (MSDS).
• Manage the RFS Certificate of analysis (CoA).
• Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and
• work procedures.
• Maintain all RFS logs.
• Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
• Perform any other duties as required.
