Job summary

Altasciences is seeking an Analyst to perform bench work and document analyses in a laboratory setting. You will ensure analyses follow SOPs and GLP/GCP guidelines, contributing to high-quality data and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a college/university degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry and strong organizational and communication skills in French and English. A formal French work environment is noted in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench analyses and support experiments based on training and competencies.
• Execute SOPs and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
• Follow GLP and GCP guidelines as applicable.
• Complete supplementary information forms to finalize documentation.
• Stay updated on new SOPs and training through sessions and meetings.
• Communicate potential problems impacting quality to line manager.
• Observe Health and Safety standards and company policies.

About The Role

The Analyst is responsible bench work and documentation based on their assignment to the laboratory. Ensures that analyses are performed in accordance with appropriate SOPs.

What You'll Do Here

• Responsible for experiments at the bench based on training and competencies can be assigned conduct validation and/or sample analysis.
• Execute appropriately method standard operating procedure (SOP), ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation
• Follow general SOP and good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practices (GCP) as applicable.
• Completing supplementary information forms as needed to complete documentation.
• Stay up to date on new SOPs, procedures, and techniques via training sessions, team meetings and internal communication avenues.
• Communicate potential problems that could impact quality of the work performed in the laboratory and data reliability and discusses appropriately with line manager.
• Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures.
• Observes all company guidelines and policies.
