Job summary

Desjardins Group is offering a temporary product administration technician position of up to 10 months. You will provide technical support to Desjardins components, administer specialized products and member/client accounts, and serve as a technical expert for your unit’s activities and processes.

You will research and analyze processes, manage information, and draw on sound decision-making to solve complex problems and improve methods.

Qualifications

  • General college diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to duties with English-speaking partners.

Job description

Temporary position for 10 months. This posting is intended primarily for unionized employees covered by the AESF-Québec bargaining unit within the Investment Products Operations Management Vice Presidency. As a product administration technician, you provide administrative support to Desjardins components and help administer specialized products and member/client accounts. You serve as technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways to change or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible.

What you bring to the table

Knowledge of French is required.

Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients (level 5).

Available to work on a rotating schedule from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and on Fridays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
