Job summary

Desjardins Group in Trois-Rivières invites applications for a temporary 12-month position as a clientele and financial services agent. You will work with advisors to identify and meet the wealth management needs of members and clients, becoming the go-to person for day-to-day banking information and transactions.

You will handle transactional activities, create offers for routine transactions, and guide clients through Desjardins tools, promoting self-sufficiency and use of automated operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in client servicing or financial services.
• Knowledge of Desjardins products and services is an asset.
• French language proficiency required.

Job description

Temporary 12- Month Position As a clientele and financial services agent, you are responsible for providing personalized service and support to affluent and high-net-worth clients. You work with the advisors to identify and meet the financial services needs of members and clients in the specialized wealth management networks. More specifically, you maintain close relationships with members and clients by becoming the go-to person when they need specific information for their day-to-day banking or to conduct day-to-day financial transactions. You also play a key role in supporting the advisors by carrying out transactional or operational activities related to the financial services offer. You create offers for routine financial transactions and sales support based on the needs and expectations of affluent clients and high net worth clients. You show them how to interact with Desjardins's tools and channels, and equip them to use the method of their choice, encouraging self-sufficiency and the use of automated operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized member/client service and experience to clients with complex needs
• Be attentive to the needs of members and clients and propose personalized and effective solutions that meets their needs and expectations
• Seize business opportunities and provide personalized advice for optimal business development
• Work with the advisor to manage member and client files: open accounts, prepare meetings and follow up on member and client requests
• Ensure the execution of all member and client banking account operations
• Proactively inform members and clients about our digital solutions and equip them to interact with Desjardins using their preferred method
• Help manage the advisor's agenda and emails
• Acquire and cultivate a good knowledge and understanding of Desjardins products and services and competitors' offers

What you bring to the table

• Attestation of Collegial Studies
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
• Knowledge of French is required
• Knowledge of all products and services available to caisse members and those offered in Desjardins business centers, the components and in the Desjardins distribution networks.
• Knowledge of integration of financial data into systems.
• Knowledge and notions of compliance with legislation respecting the distribution of financial products and services.
• Good grasp of the philosophy and fundamentals of a financial services cooperative.
• Knowledge of operational procedures for financing and investment activities.
• Knowledge of operational procedures for convenience services and products as well as automated and assisted transactions
• Knowledge of operational procedures for opening accounts, selling complementary products and services and those related to AccordD financing.
• Knowledge of Desjardins business processes (e.g., sales, solicitation and negotiation processes)
