Position Overview:

A Technician is responsible for setting up and operating basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Event Technology.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Operation: Ensures flawless event execution through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment.
2. Customer Service: Strives to exceed customer expectations, maintains positive client relationships, and ensures equipment functionality during events.
3. Technical Ability: Demonstrates basic troubleshooting skills and handles equipment challenges professionally.
4. Systems Knowledge: Follows company procedures, manages system entries, interacts with staff and vendors, and utilizes up-selling techniques to increase revenue.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience, 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required for operating company vehicles.
