Job summary

Premier Equipment Rentals, based in Elmira, Ontario, is expanding its team to service an expanding fleet of aerial and construction equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain cranes, lifts, telehandlers and related machinery, ensuring safe operation and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

The role requires extensive mechanical experience with hydraulic systems and strong electrical troubleshooting skills, plus a valid Ontario driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant mechanical experience with aerial/construction equipment.
• Experience repairing scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and construction gear.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair company assets including aerial fleet, telehandlers and construction equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
• Restore equipment to proper working condition following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete accurate service and repair documentation.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and vehicle safety.
• Follow and support scheduled maintenance programs.

What You'll Be Doing

We are a rapidly growing equipment rental business specializing in Aerial/Construction equipment. • ValidOntario Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to75 lbs
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a continuous improvement mindset
• Factory training/certification:JCB, Genie, Skyjack, Haulotte

Compensation

Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range.

Sales positions will have a commission component as well.

Salary Range

CAD $25.00 - CAD $45.00 /Hr.
