Job summary

Premier Equipment Rentals in Elmira, Ontario, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for aerial and construction equipment. Based in Elmira, you will diagnose, repair, and document service events across a roster including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers, while ensuring safety compliance.

Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills are essential, with factory training in JCB, Genie, Skyjack, and Haulotte preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant mechanical experience with aerial equipment.
• Experience repairing scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Proven electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Factory training/certification: JCB, Genie, Skyjack, Haulotte.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair company assets, including aerial fleet, telehandlers and construction equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
• Restore equipment to proper working conditions in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete accurate service and repair documentation.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment and vehicle safety.
• Follow and support scheduled maintenance programs.

Compensation

Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.

Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range.

Sales positions will have a commission component as well.

Salary Range

CAD $25.00 - CAD $45.00 /Hr.
