• Minimum 3 years recent experience with off-road construction and mining equipment.
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Off-Road Technician certification required.
• Red Seal certification required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably.
• Pass 8-panel drug test and alcohol breath test.
• Clean 5-year driving record.
• Pass criminal record check.
• Provide 2 direct supervisor references.

Big Country Equipment is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians for their Sparwood, BC location. Technicians will work on a variety of heavy equipment in mining and construction environments, with company-provided housing and paid flights from anywhere in Canada. The ideal candidate is a Red Seal Journeyman with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 3 years recent experience with off-road construction and mining equipment
