Job summary

Barminco Canada seeks experienced Underground Heavy Duty Mechanics to join the Red Chris Mine maintenance team in northern British Columbia. Work on advanced mining equipment in a challenging underground setting, with safety and teamwork at the core of daily tasks.

Compensation includes a wage rate up to 55.46 CAD/hour, camp accommodations with meals, charter travel to hubs, and no-wait extended health and dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification.
• Valid driver’s license; manual transmission experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic software.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to pass a pre-employment Fit for Duty medical including drug screening.
• Willing to work a 14/14 FIFO rotation (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).

Barminco Canada is seeking experienced Underground Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their maintenance team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced mining equipment and technology in a challenging underground environment. Ideal candidates are mechanically qualified tradespeople with strong auto electrical skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

What You’ll Need
