WHO WE ARE

We are looking for dedicated technicians who are enthusiastic about preserving our planet through clean, renewable wind energy. As a Vestas technician, you'll apply your electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical experience to ensure safety for yourself and your team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICIAN

In this advanced-level position, you'll use your skills, equipment knowledge, and self-direction to perform work on wind turbines with minimal supervision. You'll modify procedures, develop and implement well-thought-out action plans, and provide technical direction and mentorship to lower-level technicians.

Your daily tasks may involve working 250 feet above the ground or in confined spaces for maintenance and repairs. You'll be outdoors in varying weather conditions, climbing, carrying tools, and moving parts.

Teamwork, professionalism, safety, and attention to detail are core to our work ethic. We also value suggestions to improve safety and quality.

MORE ABOUT YOU

• You have a three-year technical associate degree or equivalent and at least one year of wind industry experience.

• You hold a valid Driver's License and can obtain a passport.

• You can climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.

• You have utilized complex power tools, hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, diagnostic tools such as advanced Fluke meter functions, and VOB data collection.

• You demonstrate advanced knowledge of industrial safety practices, including energy isolation and risk mitigation.

• You possess basic computer skills, are familiar with internet navigation, and can generate and interpret data.

• You can effectively communicate with customers and collaborate with co-workers.

• You can read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics to develop procedures and validate work activities.
