About the Role

Note: This Technician II role requires working Thursday to Sunday, 5pm to 3:30am. Training will occur Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Laboratory Technician II, your tasks include:

  • Preparing samples and reagents for analysis
  • Performing sample extractions and acid digestions
  • Measuring sample volumes
  • Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment and areas
  • Documenting sample preparation and analysis processes
  • Supporting efficiency and accuracy improvements
  • Assisting with inventory and supply management
  • Adhering to quality assurance and safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in an environmental laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, lab safety, and practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
