Ens Auto in Saskatoon is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our Toyota Service Department. This permanent full-time role offers steady hours Mon–Fri and a chance to grow within a state-of-the-art, employee-focused shop.

Formación

• Completion of some post-secondary program or training courses.
• Strong work ethic with professional demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Complete training as mandated by Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) & Ens Toyota Management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Carry out wheel alignments accurately.
• Inspect, document findings, and complete PDIs on vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisor.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Complete training as mandated by Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) & Ens Toyota Management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Complete wheel alignments accurately.
• Carry out used vehicle reconditioning to dealership standards.
• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Complete inspections and document findings clearly.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures.
• Follow a checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined.
• Use power tools, machine tools and common hand tools.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs
• Review work orders and discuss with supervisor.
• Inspect motor in operation, and road test vehicles.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components, including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of some post‑secondary program and or training courses.
• Professional demeanour and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Efficient problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using to use power and hand‑held equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
