BBA Consultants is seeking a Technician/Designer to support industrial piping projects from our Greater Montréal offices. You will design piping systems, develop 3D models and isometrics, and use 3D scanning to accurately model installations. The role involves close collaboration across teams and client interfaces.

Office-based with a flexible schedule that blends on-site work and remote work. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/CADWorx/SolidWorks/Navisworks and English/French language skills are

• College diploma in mechanical engineering or another relevant field.
• At least five years of experience relevant to the position.
• Experience in the mining and metals or heavy industry sectors.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx, SolidWorks and Navisworks.
• Advanced English and French to collaborate with offices and clients.
• Asset: good knowledge of SmartPlant.

As a designer, you’ll help deliver engineering projects,select technology and implement projects in the mining, hydropower and heavyindustry sectors. You’ll be based at one of our offices in the Greater Montréalarea. You’ll also play a key role in all phases of engineering projects,ensuring exceptional technical quality of deliverables.

• Deliver high-quality service and build strong relationships with internal clients by contributing to various piping design projects in the mining, oil, chemicals, biofuels and power generation sectors

• Take an active role in developing innovative solutions

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx, SolidWorks and Navisworks software
• Excellent knowledge of current computer applications such as the MS Office Suite, databases and interfaces
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Asset: good knowledge of SmartPlant
