Job summary

Servomax is seeking a Service Technician to install and service commercial espresso and coffee equipment. You will follow a structured training plan and work in a fast-growing team dedicated to quality and reliability for office coffee solutions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work independently, and strong customer service skills as you support Canadian clients from Montreal area. Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge or background.
• Plumbing knowledge or background.
• Mechanical understanding related to appliances.
• Experience with appliance service or installation preferred.
• Interest or experience with coffee equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial espresso/coffee equipment per client needs.
• Complete daily assignments with provided parts and tools.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our team of coffee experts is responsible for the installation and service of a variety of commercial coffee equipment. Our technicians ensure consistency and quality across our offerings, adding a retail café quality to the office coffee experience of our clients. Our current technical team has decades of industry specific expertise and has used the downtime during the pandemic to position ourselves for the rapid growth associated with the return to the office.

All candidates must have a driver’s license.

While no other certificates or trade licenses are required to be a coffee technician, an ideal candidate will have a basic background in some, or all, of the following skills and concepts:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Mechanical
• Appliance service or installation
• Coffee

• Ability to Work Independently
• Customer Service

As a new employee you will:

• have access to our database of manufacturer’s instructions and specifications
• be provided with the necessary tools
• get set up on a comprehensive training plan that covers fundamental skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to be successful and efficient before entering the field

Responsibilities:

• Installation and basic service requests (installation of commercial espresso and coffee equipment is similar to a residential dishwasher)
• Daily assignments (you will be provided with the parts, and equipment necessary to complete them)
• Work independently, but to Servomax standards
• Assist in workshop and other intradepartmental tasks (during downtime)
