Bilingual Field Service TechnicianFull-time, Permanent
Location: Remote – Ottawa, ON (Candidates can live in Ottawa or within approximately 45 minutes outside the territory)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + Overtime- depends they can be on call: time and halfWeekends: every 6 weeks
Base Salary: $24 – $40.21/hour- this includes premiumsIncrease after 3 months.
Overtime paid daily after 8 hours (1.5x for first 4 OT hours, 2x after that)

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on technical service, maintenance or repair experience within commercial kitchen equipment, commercial coffee machines/espresso machines, food-service equipment, appliance repair, electromechanical equipment or a closely related technical service environment.
- G2 Gas Fitter certification/ticket is mandatory.
- Previous experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
- Candidates with an Appliance Technician certification and strong experience working within a fast-paced appliance service or repair environment will also be considered.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting capabilities involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing and gas systems.
- DEP in Electromechanics, or a diploma/certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Appliance Service/Repair or a related technical discipline, is an asset.
- Equivalent hands-on technical experience will also be considered.
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs, adjustments, alignments and calibrations.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling throughout an assigned service territory.
- Strong customer-service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's licence with an excellent driving record.
- Willing and able to travel for technical training as required.
- Available for overtime and participation in the on-call rotation.
