Job summary

RGH Commercial is seeking a skilled Service Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment across multiple sites. Work includes gas, steam, and electric food equipment repairs with emphasis on reliability and customer service.

You may travel to other locations for service calls or training, and the company supports ongoing OEM manufacturer training and development.

Qualifications

• Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred.
• Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is an asset but not required.
• Related trade experience is an asset (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabricating, mover, basic construction, etc.)
• Experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven.
• Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Able to travel to other locations as needed or for training purposes.

• Service commercial cooking equipment, gas, steam, and electric food equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers and combi-ovens.
• Work at customer sites with a focus on quick, reliable repairs and minimal downtime.

$25 to $45 per hour

A Day In The Life

If you have experience as a hot or cold side equipment Service Technician or similar work experience, this may be the right fit for you. You will be servicing commercial cooking equipment, commercial gas, steam, and electric food equipment such as: coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens. If you are not currently qualified, we will support your future training and educational goals. Your role will use your industry knowledge to service complex equipment; while providing exceptional customer service to our customers - you get to be the HERO every day! This is an active job opening for a vacancy that currently needs to be filled.

What You Bring

• Education in appliance service, or a related field is preferred
• Valid trade license (G3, G2, G1, 313A, Red Seal) is a strong asset but not required

• Experience working in the foodservice industry is preferred
