Job summary

Whitby Oshawa Honda is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join a high-volume, process-driven dealership. You will learn automotive services by performing supervised inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations safely and to manufacturer standards.

As an apprentice, you will work on drivability, suspensions, steering, HVAC, brakes and exhaust systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, while upholding safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use diagnostics equipment

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform supervised inspections, repairs, maintenance and installations according to manufacturer standards
• Grow skills across drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, HVAC, brakes and exhaust as apprenticeship level allows

Whitby Oshawa Honda is currently seeking an ApprenticeTechnician to join our team of customer focused professionals withinour high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary ofPosition:

The Apprentice Service Technician learns automotive servicesby performing supervised inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installationsefficiently, safely and according to manufacturer quality and time standards.Complies with manufacturer and dealership’s safety and environmental programsand practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited todrivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning,basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems. These services are dependent onApprenticeship level.
