Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Repair Technician to join our client’s growing team in beautiful cottage country! This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, a relaxed lifestyle, and being part of a close-knit community. The ideal candidate is passionate about small engine repair and is open to relocating for a stable and rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and boats (inboard/outboard motors)
  • Conduct regular maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, winterization/spring commissioning for boats)
  • Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
  • Support seasonal demands with longer summer days of work; with flexibility over the winter season (if preferred)
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience in small engine repair
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and repair equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Willingness to relocate to a rural or semi-rural area
