Technical Writer / Reporting Specialist - Oil & Gas Industry

Position Summary:

We are hiring a Technical Writer / Reporting Specialist for our Data Analysis team in Vaughan, Ontario. This is an on-site role requiring 2-3 years of experience. The position involves preparing and publishing Preliminary and Final In-Line Inspection (ILI) reports and supporting documentation. The Technical Writer will coordinate with the Technical Writing team, perform QA/QC of reports, revise reports, assist with printing and shipping reports, and produce internal documentation for ENTEGRA.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in retrieval of archived datasets.
• Prepare and update report templates.
• Encrypt client data shipments and coordinate with DA Leads.
• Revise reports as requested.
• Track report lifecycle and communicate reporting needs.
• Perform QA/QC of reports and documents.
• Complete reports as needed.
• Coordinate and delegate report tasks within the team.
• Implement corrections and assist in printing and shipment of reports.
• Write and edit internal documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Writing Certificate, or related experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of technical writing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Experience with report templates and high-volume report management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
