Job summary

Roche is seeking a QMS Technical Writer to join the Governance Chapter, collaborating with Global QMS authors to ensure content is clear and understandable for a diverse audience. You will help align interpretation and implementation of QMS documents across the organization.

Responsibilities include translating complex information into concise content, simplifying jargon, and breaking down processes into clear sections with visual workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or related manufacturing Quality environments is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content.

The Opportunity:

As a QMS Technical writer, you will partner with our Global QMS authors to ensure information is written clearly and can be followed and understood to a diversified audience. This is essential to ensure we have aligned interpretation and implementation of our Global QMS documents throughout the organization

• Translate complex information into lean, easily digestible pieces of written content.
• Simplify technical jargon, as appropriate, and intricate concepts, ensuring the information is clear and understood by a broad audience.
• Work with the QMS Process Owners/Authors by breaking down detailed processes into manageable sections, so that they are easy to follow in our QMS global documents
• Embed visual workflows to create clear, detailed diagrams that help users understand complex processes and interdependencies
• Write complex processes in a concise, logical manner for our Global QMS documents.
• Deliver completed documents to the author to support updates according to the required timelines

Who You Are:

We are looking for a detail orientated, collaborative team member who can work effectively with a diverse group of authors. You bring experience in technical writing procedures and policies that serve a large network of users.

• B.S. in life sciences or equivalent.
• 5+ years of proven experience in writing technical documentation
• Manufacturing and/or Quality experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry and knowledge of Health authority regulations would be an asset.
• Effective collaboration and team-working skills
• Excellence verbal and written communication skills in English are a must
• Skilled in drafting documentation from provided templates and drafts to efficiently produce clear, consistent, and structured documents.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into easily digestible content
• Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Detail-oriented
