Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of Experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, Instructional Design, or Workforce Development.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, or technical work environments.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Learning & Development partner for the Stoney Creek repair facility.
• Regularly assess training needs based on operational metrics and growth plans and collaborate with operational leaders to develop and implement effective training plans.
• Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs, learning resources, and competency-based training materials.
• Partner with repair technicians and subject matter experts to document processes and create standardized work instructions and learning content.
• Develop and maintain skills matrices, training curricula, and employee qualification frameworks.
• Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and virtual training sessions as required.
• Measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on operational needs and employee feedback.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance training delivery and workforce capability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide transparency on team members skill to ensure members are assigned work they are qualified for including HSE required training.
• Lead & support centralized training records for all trainings including but not limited to Soft Skill, Technical, HSE, and quality.
