Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Geomatics Support Specialist for our Eastern Quebec or Atlantic region. You will provide product support, training, product development and testing, and help craft innovative strategies to empower our sales team and clients to realize the full potential of our positioning systems.

You will work hands-on with GNSS, 3D scanning, mobile mapping, machine automation and cloud-based software solutions, requiring strong technical insight, problem-solving, and travel across multiple

Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Geomatics Support Specialist for either our Eastern Quebec or Atlantic region.

This position is responsible for product support, training, product development, and testing. Additionally, the Geomatics Support Specialist will assist in developing innovative strategies and applications to assist our sales team and clients realize the full potential of our positioning systems.

The Geomatics Support Specialist will work hands-on with some of the most innovative positioning technology available including machine automation, 3D scanning, mobile mapping, GNSS and robotic instrument solutions along with powerful cloud based software solutions.

What We Look For

• GNSS
• Robotic and conventional positioning systems
• Must have an understanding of survey field and office software
• An aptitude for related technology is required
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills are required
• 3+ years of directly related experience preferred in construction, land surveying and/or engineering
• Knowledge of Brandt product lines and heavy equipment considered an asset
• Preference will be shown to candidates who possess a Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma or Electronical Engineering diploma
• Extensive travel is required to various locations; a recent driver’s abstract is required
• Must be fluent in both English and French
