Job summary

Tidalis is seeking a results-oriented Support Engineer based in Burnaby, BC to join our team. You will handle day-to-day customer support, collaborate with software engineers, line managers and support managers, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

You will test software before releases, assist with deployments, and contribute to knowledge bases and user guides. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years direct work experience in customer support.
• Minimum 1 year direct work experience in software testing.
• Demonstrated understanding of customer support and software testing practices.
• Understanding of software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advise customers on usage of Tidalis products and services.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, Redmine, MS Teams and other platforms.
• Analyze and resolve customer issues.
• Maintain and update accurate customer discussions records.
• Develop and update user guides for Tidalis products.
• Stay current with Tidalis products and related technologies.
• Initiate new functionality change requests for customers.
• Write and execute test cases before final releases.
• Gather business requirements and discuss features with customers.
• Deliver trainings on system features and installation processes.
• Configure servers, manage databases and install system files.
