Job summary

Symbiotic Group in Toronto, ON is seeking an Intermediate Systems Testing/QA Specialist to support testing and quality assurance for large-scale enterprise applications. You will design, execute, and maintain testing across web, cloud, and mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in testing, experience with API/AODA, and strong knowledge of QA tools and SDLC. Hybrid work arrangement in Toronto with a 7-month duration and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certification in Software Quality Engineering or equivalent asset is a strong plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience testing large-scale applications (web, cloud, mobile).
• Experience with API testing and accessibility testing (AODA) is a plus.
• Hands-on testing across functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
• Experience with OpenText ALM, JIRA, X-Ray, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver detailed test cases and scripts aligned with project objectives.
• Execute tests and document results across functional, integration, system, and performance areas.
• Maintain defect records and provide timely QA reports to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts as required.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to manage test data and scenarios.
