Leveraging strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands‑on experience, the Technical Support Analyst ensures a secure, reliable, and optimized IT operations environment, with a particular focus on vulnerability mitigation and the secure configuration of Windows servers and Active Directory components.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate and participate in decision‑making for new server hardware, server replacement, and ongoing hardware support maintenance.
  • Build, maintain, decommission, and harden Windows and Linux servers in accordance with corporate security and compliance standards.
  • Administer and support VMware ESXi, SRM, and Horizon platforms supporting core banking systems, contact centres, VDI, and enterprise workloads.
  • Manage server infrastructure, including standalone and blade systems, firmware, capacity planning, and hardware refresh cycles.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, performance of all servers and virtualization platforms.
  • Perform ongoing vulnerability management in alignment with corporate compliance and vulnerability scanning standards, including remediation and security patching for Windows, Linux, VMware platforms, and vendor appliances.
  • Maintain Windows and Linux server hardening standards, base images, and continuous compliance updates to meet or exceed defined security risk thresholds.
  • Administration and support Active Directory related infrastructure components, authentication services, SSO platforms, and certificate authorities.
  • Support audits and security reviews related to server and infrastructure platforms.
  • Maintain servers across primary and secondary data centre locations to support disaster recovery and ensure availability of core banking systems and contact centre services.
  • Participate in annual disaster recovery exercises and ensure server readiness for DR scenarios.
  • Technical execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness for server and virtualization platforms.
  • Maintain infrastructure across primary and secondary data centers to meet recovery objectives.
  • Support transition initiatives from on premises server environments to cloud‑based platforms.
  • Administer and maintain Single Sign‑On (SSO) services and certificate authority infrastructure, including renewal of production certificates.
  • Provide (Level 3) technical support for critical infrastructure issues in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Install, support, and maintain departmental server applications for business units.
  • Provide after‑hours On‑Call support, including carrying a mobile device to support 24x7 operational requirements.
  • Work closely with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support and implementation.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation, standards, and playbooks.
