Job summary

BRP is seeking a Technical Services Planning Technician in Valcourt, Quebec. You will support workshops and engineering teams, draft and clarify work requirements, and manage parts and vehicle orders to keep the workshop on schedule.

This role values knowledge of BRP products and mechanical systems, with a background in manufacturing processes. A strong team orientation and readiness to collaborate across departments are essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in mechanics or equivalent (DCS/DVS).
  • 1.5–3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and BRP products.
  • Understanding of how automotive service departments operate is a plus.
  • Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (drilling, milling, welding, moulding).
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support workshops and engineering teams as a primary resource.
  • Draft, analyze, and clarify work requirements for labour, parts, and technical info needs.
  • Plan and follow up on parts and vehicle orders to meet workshop schedules.
  • Plan and organize shipments of goods and vehicles per internal requests.
  • Assist supervisors with requests related to work in progress.

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Services Planning Technician who will report to the Planning Team Lead. In this role, you will have a major impact on supporting the organization's growth and the development of BRP products. You will be at the forefront of supporting the workshops and engineering teams.

You'll Have The Opportunity To
  • Act as a support resource for the workshops and engineering teams.
  • Draft, analyze, modify, and clarify work requirements to determine labour, parts, vehicle availability, and technical information needs.
  • Plan and follow up on parts and vehicle orders to meet the workshop schedule.
  • Plan and organize shipments of goods and vehicles according to requests from internal clients.
  • Support supervisors with any requests related to work in progress.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A diploma of college studies (DCS) or diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in mechanics or the equivalent.
  • 18 months to 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems as well as broad knowledge of BRP products.
  • Knowledge of how an automotive service department operates would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of common manufacturing processes (drilling, milling, welding, moulding).
  • Knowledge of the SAP ERP system is an asset.
