Job description

Turn Up the Heat-Sell the Fire
At Woodland, we help customers turn houses into homes with high-quality fireplaces, fire pits, and heaters. As a Technical Sales Representative (TSR), you'll guide customers through meaningful purchases by providing expert advice and exceptional service-from first contact to post-sale support.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales

  • Follow Woodland's Sales System to convert leads
  • Handle inbound calls & online inquiries
  • Meet and exceed monthly/seasonal sales goals

Work a Retail Schedule

  • Shifts include:
    • Day (8:30 AM-5:00 PM)
    • Day Plus (10:30 AM-7:00 PM)
    • Saturday (9:00 AM-6:30 PM)
  • Schedule varies with seasonal demand

Become a Product Expert

  • Learn our full product line: fireplaces, fire pits, heaters, gas logs, etc.
  • Earn your NFI Certification toward becoming a Master Hearth Professional

Support Customers Throughout the Journey

  • Guide customers from product selection through installation
  • Set clear expectations on delivery, availability, and post-sale care
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of sales experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with technical products and problem-solving
  • Self-driven, professional, and goal-oriented
  • Background in construction or building is a plus

Education:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (not required)
Job Requirements
  • Office-based with heavy computer use
  • Hybrid work schedule (if approved): must have 200+ Mbps internet, quiet space, and video call readiness
  • No travel or supervisory duties
