Job summary

Forge Performance Group, operating from Calgary, invites you to join Blackline Safety as a Technical Sales Representative. This role supports customers during the sales process by demonstrating how Blackline's connected safety solutions meet operational needs.

You will collaborate with the sales team and distribution partners to lead product evaluations, coordinate field trials, deliver training, and provide technical expertise to help customers make informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education, technical certification, or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience in technical sales, customer-facing technology, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable learning and explaining technical products and web-based software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with GPS, GSM, web applications, or connected technologies is an asset.
  • Fluency in Portuguese would be considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Managers to support customer evaluations throughout the sales cycle.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee product field trials that demonstrate the value of Blackline's solutions.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and customer training sessions.
  • Configure customer accounts and web portal settings to meet operational requirements.
  • Gather customer feedback during evaluations and recommend solution adjustments where appropriate.
  • Prepare clear reports that summarize testing results and product performance.
  • Coordinate demo equipment logistics with internal teams.
  • Provide technical support for demonstration devices used during customer evaluations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and distribution partners while delivering an exceptional experience.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll play an integral role in supporting customers throughout the sales process by demonstrating how Blackline's connected safety solutions meet their operational needs.

Working closely with the sales team and distribution partners, you'll lead product evaluations, coordinate field trials, deliver customer training, and provide technical expertise that helps customers make informed decisions.
