Job description

Founded in 2021, LayerZero’s vision is to create a community of cross-chain developers, building dApps that are no longer constrained by individual blockchain capabilities. About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager who will influence how projects are executed at LayerZero. As the company transitions from a startup to a more process-oriented environment, effective project execution is crucial for our growth.

What You’ll Do

The responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager include:

1. Overseeing company projects (software and strategic initiatives).
2. Collaborating with project owners on project status and risk management, ensuring adherence to timelines.
3. Driving project initiatives within cross-functional teams (including Marketing) for successful releases.
4. Reporting on all projects to ensure company-wide alignment.
5. Leading daily agile meetings with management and project owners to review status and address support needs to meet project goals.

About You

Software Program Management Experience:

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with project management methodologies in software, including Agile and Waterfall.
2. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
3. A proactive professional capable of identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
4. Experience managing projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, control, and reporting.
5. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro/LucidChart, Monday.com.
6. Strong leadership skills across organizational levels.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong decision-making and organizational abilities.

Nice to Have:

1. At least one professional project management certification (e.g., PMI PMP, CSM, Prince2).
2. Experience or knowledge in Blockchain or WEB3 industries is a significant advantage.
