Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead growth across engineering, production, and software. You will own the integrated plan for concurrent capex and opex initiatives and drive cross-functional teams toward shared goals with real authority.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in TPM or engineering leadership in manufacturing/industrial settings, excellent technical fluency, and a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and resources in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical program management, engineering program leadership, or a closely related role in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial operations.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex, multi-workstream programs where capital projects, operational changes, and production targets intersected for resources.
• Strong technical and engineering fluency, with the ability to challenge assumptions in discussions with engineering and production teams.
• Track record of driving cross-functional teams toward decisions under real-time pressure, escalating when needed.
• Experience building or maintaining integrated planning tools such as Linear, Wrike, or similar platforms, with resourcing views across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated program plan across concurrent capex projects, opex initiatives, and production ramp targets.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies and resourcing conflicts before they become firefights.
• Drive tradeoff conversations to resolution with functional leads across Production, Engineering, Facilities, and other teams.
• Support resequencing work and determine what can be resolved independently vs escalated.
• Build and maintain a resourcing view alongside the timeline; identify pinch points and capacity gaps.
• Use production data to build recovery plans when a program slips.
• Maintain a visible risk and issue log and brief senior leadership for decisions.
• Push back on smoothed tradeoffs and ensure conflicts are surfaced.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams from planning through completion; ensure timelines/resources/priorities align.
• Help establish scalable processes and operating rhythms for Clutch’s growth.
