Job summary

Covenant HR is seeking a Technical Program Manager / Release Train Engineer for a hybrid role in Montreal. You will lead a large-scale cloud transformation program, act as Release Train Engineer, coordinate PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums, and report to executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of TPM/PM experience, deep SAFe knowledge, and strong client-facing communication. This position requires bilingual capabilities and is a direct-hire opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French (required).
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, or Program Manager.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation or multi-cloud migration programs.
• Expert knowledge of SAFe and Agile methodologies.
• Advanced experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of a large-scale cloud transformation program.
• Function as the Release Train Engineer, facilitating PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and program cadence events.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
• Serve as the primary client-facing program lead, providing executive-level updates and communicating program status.
• Coach Scrum Masters and Agile teams while promoting continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to align program objectives with business priorities.
• Support migration coordination, backlog organization, change management, and Jira/Confluence administration as needed.
• Develop program reporting, governance, and executive steering materials.
• Drive collaboration across architects, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
