Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Senior Devops Developer to design, integrate, and scale a robust CIAM platform in Montreal. You will lead deployment automation, ensure secure delivery, and contribute to strategic architecture in alignment with corporate TI standards.

The role requires 10–15+ years in IT and strong leadership, bilingual fluency, and expertise across data, apps, and infrastructure domains. Expect a dynamic, collaborative environment with complex operational responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
• 10 to 15+ years of relevant IT and solution architecture experience.
• Extensive knowledge across data, applications, and infrastructure domains.
• Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
• Strong analytical, proactive, autonomous, and leadership abilities within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, operate, and scale a CIAM platform across front-end, back-end, API, and identity services.
• Lead automation of deployment pipelines for secure, efficient delivery.
• Contribute to strategic architecture aligned with TI strategy and industry standards.
• Provide expert consulting to internal stakeholders and coach junior team members.
• Diagnose and resolve complex operational issues (24/7 as needed) with MSPs.
• Perform risk, cost, and performance analyses to secure infrastructures.

What you will be doing:

• Platform Engineering:Design, integrate, operate, and scale a robust CIAM platform covering front-end, back-end, API, and identity services.
• Automation & Deployment:Act as the lead for industrialization; automate deployment pipelines and ensure efficient, secure delivery of solutions.
• Strategic Architecture:Contribute to feasibility, design, and execution phases of development projects while aligning with corporate TI strategy and industry standards.
• Consulting & Leadership:Provide expert advice, act as a go-to resource for internal stakeholders and management, and coach junior team members.
• Operational Support:Diagnose and resolve complex operational issues (24/7 as needed) and work alongside managed service providers to ensure infrastructure performance.
• Risk & Strategy:Perform risk, cost, and benefit analyses; ensure the security and performance of technological infrastructures.

What you must have:

• Expertise:Extensive and deep knowledge across multiple technological and business domains, specifically covering data, applications, and infrastructure.

Technical Competencies

• Cybersecurity & CIAM:Expertise in deploying/supporting CIAM solutions (e.g., Ping One, Keycloak, Okta, Azure External Identities, Auth0); mastery of user journeys and protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, FIDO2, etc.).
• Infrastructure & Cloud:Automated deployment in major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS); API solution delivery on Kubernetes; network security (WAF, DNS, DDoS).
• Observability:Knowledge of monitoring standards (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Cloud Monitoring).
• SDLC & DevOps:IaC (Terraform); CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub, ArgoCD/GitOps, SonarQube).
• Software & Integration:C#, JavaScript; distributed architecture, microservices, API integration (Apigee, Kong, EntraID), event-driven/streaming architectures; database management (SQL, NoSQL, Caching).
