About the Role

As a Technical Product Owner at AssistIQ, you will work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure that we build and deliver high quality AssistIQ products to our customers for our capture solution. Our capture solution consists of IOS app, cloud based services and ETL data jobs.

In this position you will be responsible for managing the short term backlog with product managers and business stakeholders, collaborating with the engineering teams to ensure epics and stories are elaborated to the appropriate level of details and working with other internal teams such as customer support and implementation to streamline the delivery of new releases.

We’re looking for candidates who enjoy and can work in a fast-paced start-up environment. This person will have a strong ability to establish and maintain a bridge between Engineering and Product Management, creativily problem solve, gather feedback and adapt their approach to encourage continuous improvement. This person will have a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.

What you will do

  • Work with product managers and engineers to understand and prioritize product features
  • Translate and communicate product roadmap into a product backlog of well-defined features and user stories with the appropriate acceptance criteria.
  • Leverage your expertise in mobile and cloud systems to define technical requirements, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external services and data flows.
  • Utilize KPIs and technical data to make informed product prioritization decisions, continuously optimizing the platform to meet evolving customer demands.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the seamless delivery of product features and integrations, with a focus on scalability, security, and customer success.
  • Assist in the documentation and rollout of new technical features providing support to internal teams to ensure successful deployments.
  • Work with quality assurance leads to ensure high product quality
  • Partner with other product and technology teams to develop, test and deliver the defined capabilities and rapidly iterate new solutions
  • Ensure that the appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to monitor performance post launch to evaluate future investment.
  • Perform Demos with key team members to demonstrate success and impact.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar product or business analysis role.
  • 2+ years managing a mobile product (IOS/Android)
  • Demonstrated experience working in B2B SaaS, particularly with enterprise customers, and an understanding of technical challenges and solutions related to enterprise settings.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system architecture, cloud platforms, and integrations; experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful multi-platform development and delivery in both mobile and cloud contexts.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable product features based on customer needs.
  • Experience in leveraging technical data and KPIs to inform product decisions and prioritization.
  • Ability to support technical deployments for both single and multi-location, complex customers, ensuring successful roll outs.
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capability of stakeholder management, problem-solving, and prioritization.
