UBC's OCIO | Automation Solution Delivery seeks a Team Lead to provide senior functional and technical leadership for enterprise automation, guiding design, delivery, and sustainment of workflow automation, RPAs, integrations, APIs, and related cloud services in a university setting.

This role blends hands-on development with project oversight, mentoring staff, and coordinating with managers, analysts, architects, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Senior technical leadership for automation initiatives.
Experience delivering enterprise automation solutions across platforms.
Strong knowledge of workflows, RPAs, and APIs.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, deployment, and support of automation solutions.
Guide solution approaches, review designs, and ensure timely delivery.
Mentor staff and coordinate with stakeholders and IT teams.
Define technical scope and sequence delivery work with risk assessment.
Oversee SDLC activities from analysis to deployment and handover.
Contribute to hands-on development and implementation of complex automations.
