SPS West is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Specialist to support customers, sales reps, manufacturers and suppliers with technical requirements, quotations and order coordination. You will investigate questions, source components and provide practical solutions for engineered industrial products.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, pricing accuracy and timely order fulfillment, in a collaborative environment with opportunities to expand product knowledge and contribute to a Canadian company.

Qualifications

• Combines technical aptitude with strong organizational and customer-service skills.
• Able to interpret drawings, datasheets and specifications.
• Experience preparing quotations, sourcing products or processing orders is valued.
• Comfortable communicating with customers, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Practical pricing awareness and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

• Review inquiries, RFQs and drawings to determine product requirements.
• Research industrial products and identify suitable equipment and configurations.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for technical information.
• Prepare professional quotations with supplier data and pricing.
• Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy of part numbers and pricing.
• Maintain CRM and internal systems with accurate records.
