Technical Field Specialist

Our expertise includes Nuclear Steam Plant (NSP) engineering, Balance of Plant (BOP) engineering, Plant Life Management and Extension, Retube Tooling Systems, Inspection and Maintenance Services, Steam Generator Replacement, Plant Equipment Refurbishment and Retrofits.
AtkinsRéalis is supporting a nuclear new build small modular reactor (SMR), the first of its kind built in the western hemisphere, and due to be on the grid by the end of this decade. We are looking for individuals with a strong technical understanding to support ongoing construction activities.
The Technical Field Specialist supports the Construction department and is responsible for reviewing the Construction & Installation Work Packages (CWP/IWP), processing field change requests through the Engineering department, and aiding the Construction organization to resolve any uncertainty with regards to design documents. This role may be known as Field Engineering, Field Technologist, or Series Leads in other projects.
This is a permanent position that will functionally report internally to a Project Manager, New Build, and have an execution manager from the Project. This role would require extensive time in an Industrial green field construction site environment, in either of the following disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Electrical or Instrumentation.
