The Department of Families is looking to fill the position of Technical Business Analyst within the Strategic Advisory Office (SAO) branch.
The Strategic Advisory Office holds a pivotal role in organizational relations, and architecture, focusing on guiding strategy, fostering relationships, overseeing contracts, driving innovation and conducting research. Guides organizational strategy and relationships to promote synergy and alignment, providing a roadmap for sustainable growth and innovation

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, business analysis, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in Microsoft 365, PowerShell, Python, XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS, Power Fx, and SQL.
- Experience leading IT projects and aligning digital solutions with business priorities.
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Ability to assess user readiness and develop effective change management strategies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve technical and operational challenges.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and business case materials.
- Strong written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong verbal communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired:
- Demonstrated knowledge of large-scale systems used by the Department of Families.
Duties:
The Technical Business Analyst supports the Department of Families through the Strategic Advisory Office (SAO), a shared services unit that collaborates across the organization to implement service and program improvements. The Technical Business Analyst leads the design and implementation of digital and technical solutions that align with departmental goals, improve operational efficiency, and enhance citizen services.
