Technical Architect – Financial Services

Our Wealth Management Technology Team is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by prestigious financial institutions. We specialize in delivering innovative solutions for portfolio optimization, platform integration, and scaling capabilities that empower advisors and clients. Our recent advancements have redefined client engagement and operational efficiency in wealth management.

We are seeking a Wealth Management Architect with a strong background in Wealth Management to build and scale a comprehensive technical practice. The role involves leading the design and implementation of review processes, automation roadmaps, and checklist management to ensure high-quality platform assessments and project delivery. The Practice Leader will oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and engagement processes to streamline technical reviews and add organizational value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance, scalable wealth management platforms using Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Architecting microservices solutions for portfolio analytics, onboarding, and trading systems.
  • Integrating FinTech APIs (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Plaid) and third-party systems.
  • Ensuring low-latency data processing for real-time risk assessment and rebalancing algorithms.
  • Leading code reviews, system optimizations, and adopting best practices (TDD, CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Mentoring engineering teams in Java / Python frameworks and event-driven architectures.
  • Collaborating with data scientists to deploy AI / ML models for personalized advice.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies like blockchain, NLP, and robo-advisors.
  • Optimizing data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and compliance disclosures.
  • Enhancing security frameworks to protect sensitive financial data.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of leadership in technology roles within wealth management, fintech, or financial services.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, automation tools, and programming languages (Java, Python).
  • Experience with REST microservices, Kafka, Snowflake, and relational databases.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP).
  • Proven ability to explore and implement AI, blockchain, and data analytics technologies.
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments with scalability demands.
