Job summary

RedMane Technology LLC in Vancouver offers a full-time Technical Architect role with hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 remote). You will drive architecture for our low-code SaaS product, mentor developers, and lead design sessions in an Agile/Scrum team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience as a full stack developer.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership, in a C#, .NET, SQL Server environment.
• 2+ years in enterprise platforms for custom solutions, preferably cloud/Azure.
• Experience using AI in software development.
• Led teams of 5-10 developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

The Role

RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Technical Architect as we continue to grow our Vancouver based practice. The Technical Architect is a hands-on role responsible for architecture and driving thedevelopment of our low code, highly configurable SaaS product. Thisrolewill work on a dynamic development team in an Agile/Scrum environmentto deliver a customized solution for our clients.Mentor team members indesign, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.

Day to Day Activities Include

• Envisioninginnovative solutions for complex problems, leveraging advancedunderstanding of software engineering principles.
  
• Leadingtechnical design sessions, prototype work, and proofs-of-concept.
  
• Hands-onanalysis, design, and development to enable further product scalabilityand interoperability.
  
• Workingwith the project manager to remove obstacles, review design, and ensurereleases meet the needs of stakeholders.
  
• Mentoringteam members in design, coding practices, and software developmentpolicies and guidelines.
  
• Activelycontributing to software development design and coding standards.
  
• Verifyingall completed work follows best practices and engineering standards.
  

Supportingcross-functional teams in testing, deploying, and implementing theproduct.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+years of experience in software development as a full stack developer.
  
• 2+years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in a C#, .NET, andSQL Server environment.
  
• 2+ in enterprise-level platforms forcustom solution building , preferably in a cloud/Azure environment.
  
• Experienced in use of AI insoftware development
  
• Led teams of 5-10 developers.
  
• Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
• Strongattention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strongcommunication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts toindividuals with varying levels of technical understanding.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000/year to 160,000/year.
