Qualifications

• Basic understanding of technology risk and compliance.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Ability to aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Ability to build rapport with business teams and build consensus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain technology risk governance, risk & controls framework and related processes.
• Provide SME in information security, operations, IT resiliency, and technology delivery.
• Support risk assessments and manage Issue Register documentation and reporting.
• Assist in annual BCP/BIA activities and monitor DR activities.
• Support review of exceptions / risk acceptances aligning to policies and standards.
• Support risk reviews of key initiatives and projects.
• Prepare reports and metrics to highlight risks and impacts for management.
• Contribute to evolution of Canada Life’s technology risk strategy and operating model.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with policies and standards across the organization.
