Job summary

TD is offering a Co-op/Internship role in Toronto, Ontario for a 4-month work term (January–April 2026). You will join the Issues Management team to support risk analysis, reporting, monitoring, and insights presented to senior leadership.

The position targets undergraduates in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, or Business/Commerce with strong data-analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Transcript, cover letter, and resume are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
• Proactively analyze Issues Management data and produce trend analysis to inform forward looking results.
• Use advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and recommend standards.

Responsibilities

• This role will provide a broad range of risk analysis, reporting, monitoring and support to business partner requests and act as a specialist/expert in providing advice on a range of risk related matters within the Issues Management team.
• The role involves conducting data quality checks and thematic analysis of issue data and drafting reporting insights to inform senior leadership of key themes and potential areas of concern.
• The successful candidate should possess strong analytical thinking and attention to detail skills as these reports are presented at various senior committees within the organization.
• Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or oversight functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
• Conducts Issues Management analysis to inform decision making at senior levels.
• Works independently and performs ongoing monitoring and analysis of Issues management data to inform future trends.
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.
