Job summary

Releady is seeking a lead developer to join the Personal and Business Banking team in a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto. You will balance hands-on coding with code reviews, mentoring, and cross-team coordination, while acting as the primary technical contact for your applications.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Node.js runtime experience.
• AWS experience with Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and DynamoDB.
• Experience using AI coding tools in production workflows and validating output.
• Strong written and verbal communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own development work across assigned applications within the AWS/Node.js stack
• Conduct code reviews and help drive task completion across the team
• Serve as the primary point of contact in meetings for the applications they own
• Support developers with technical questions and troubleshooting
• Translate technical work into terms non-technical stakeholders can understand
• Manage own workload via Jira, including task tracking against delivery dates
